MAVTx OSD: Quickstart Guide

Step 1: Install the Alta X HD FPV System

1. Follow the installation instructions provided in the manual to set up the Alta X HD FPV System.

Step 2: Power On the Device

1. The MAVTx software is pre-configured with a default OSD layout.

2. Power on the device.

3. You can now either fly immediately or enter the OSD menu to make any adjustments.

Adjusting OSD Settings

1. All settings can be adjusted directly in the OSD.

2. Use the joystick on the front of the Brain Bay PCB to navigate and make changes.

Using the Brain Bay Joystick to Adjust the MAVTx OSD

The Brain Bay Joystick allows users to control the MAVTx software and customise telemetry information displayed on the Digital OSD.

Entering the OSD Menu

1. Remove the Brain Bay Pull Panel.

2. Provide power to the Brain Bay.

3. PRESS IN on the Brain Bay joystick to enter the OSD menu.

Navigating the OSD Menu

After accessing the OSD Menu:

• Up/Down on the joystick: Change the setting you are adjusting (current setting is indicated by a “>” at the beginning of the line).

• Left/Right on the joystick: Adjust the selected setting.

Sub-Menus and Actions

• Settings with a sub-menu or action are marked with a “>” at the end of the line.

  • Press right on the joystick to enter a sub-menu or invoke an action.

Firmware Version

• The current MAVTx firmware version is displayed at the bottom of the main OSD menu.

By following these steps, you'll be ready to fly and customise your MAVTx setup as needed.

Users with a DJI Digital FPV System must have the DJI goggles turned on to access the MAVTx OSD settings
