How to Install the HD FPV Camera Bay into the Alta X
The following instructions will help you install Alta X HD FPV Camera Bay into the Freefly Systems Alta X.


The HD FPV Camera Bay is designed to be installed into Bay 1 of the ALTA X. Bay 1 is located at the front of the aircraft, to the left of the GPS.
By this step, the HD FPV Camera Bay will be already installed with:
- HD FPV Camera System: Digital VTX Module, HD FPV Camera and Camera Telemetry Cable. 
- Cooling Fan and Fan Cable.

- 1x Alta X HD FPV Camera Bay System - HD FPV Camera Bay (Camera & VTX pre-installed) - Fan Cable: JST-SH 2-PIN - DJI or Walksnail Video Telemetry Cable: JST-SH 6-pin to JST-SH 6-pin | JST-SH 6-pin to JST-SH 6-pin 
Tools:
- 2mm Metric Hex Driver 
- 1.5mm Metric Hex Driver 
Goals
- Replace the Side Closeout Panel in Alta X Bay 1 with the Alta X HD FPV Camera Bay. 
- Adjust and set the FPV Camera to the users preferred angle. 
Instructions


How to Install the HD FPV Camera Bay within the Alta X
- Remove the Closeout Panel: Remove the Closeout Panel Bolts and the Side Closeout Panel from Alta X Bay One. 
- Secure the Back Panel: Ensure the HD FPV Camera Bay Back Panel is securely clicked onto the back of the HD FPV Camera Bay. 
- Thread the Cables: Thread the Fan Cable (JST-SH 2-PIN) and the Video Telemetry Cable (JST-SH 6-pin) through the Brain Bay Access Hole in the HD FPV Camera Bay. 
- Install the Camera Bay: Slide the HD FPV Camera Bay into Bay 1 of the Alta X. 
- Secure the Camera Bay: Screw the HD FPV Camera Bay into the Alta X using a 2mm Metric Hex Driver. 
- Prepare for Brain Bay Installation: Guide the Fan Cable and the Video Telemetry Cable into Bay 2 of the Alta X (left of Bay 1). Position the cables behind where the Brain Bay's Circuit Board will be installed. 




How to Adjust and Fix the FPV Camera Angle
- Loosen the Camera Bolts: Unscrew the two bolts on the front of the FPV camera by two full turns. 
- Adjust the Camera Tilt: Adjust the camera tilt to the desired angle. 
- Retighten the Camera Bolts: Retighten the two bolts on the front of the FPV camera to the original tightness. Caution: Ensure the bolts are secure but not over-tightened to avoid stripping them. 


DO NOT over-tighten the Camera Adjustment Bolts.
