The R2 Exoskeleton is shaped from durable, 6061 Aluminum metal supports. These supports effectively bridge across the vulnerable area, providing critical support to reduce the likelihood of critical failure.

We've also incorporated the ability to attach accessories to the rear and the sides of the R2 Exoskeleton. You might use this for video transmitters, Aero Landing Gear, counterweights and more.

During our R&D, we discovered that not all Ronin 2 units have the same spine dimensions. To address this, we’ve included 3D-printed spacers to ensure a snug fit for your gimbal and the R2 Exoskeleton, regardless of the R2s specific shape or slight quirks. If you ever need to reprint these spacers, the files will be available on our website.
