How to Install the R2 Exoskeleton on the Ronin 2

R2 Exoskeleton Installation Steps

1. Remove the Rear Plate of the Ronin 2.

2. Install the Rear Clamp: - Insert the 3D printed spacer into the Exoskeleton Rear Plate. - Fasten the Exoskeleton Rear Plate to the Ronin 2 using M3 x 12mm screws.

3. Attach the Top Clamp: - Position the Top Clamp on the pan arm. - Fasten it to the Rear Clamp using M3 x 12mm screws.

4. Install Horizontal Spacers: - Insert the 3D printed spacers into the Top and Bottom Clamps. - Loosely fasten the clamps together with M3 x 12mm cap head screws to allow for positioning on the pan arm.

5. Install Support Struts: - Fasten one Support Strut to the Rear Clamp using M4 x 12mm screws. - Align the Top Clamp with the Support Strut and secure it using M4 x 12mm screws. - Repeat the process for the other Support Strut.

6. Final Adjustment: - Securely fasten the top clamp pieces together.

• We recommend the M3 clamp bolts to be done up to 1.5Nm. It is important that they are tightened evenly from side to side to prevent pinching of the carbon (clamp to have even gap either side).

• We recommend Loctite 222 on all fasteners.
