The EON800 Serial Port Patch Panel for Alta X supplies the connection between the EON800 APU and the Internal Alta X FRX Cable (JST-GH 6-Pin). The Alta X FRX Cable is alternatively used for an FRX radio and is located inside of the Alta X chassis, adjacent to the GPS/RTK GPS unit. Once the Serial Port Patch Panel is installed, we recommend it remains permanently fixed to the Alta X, including during un-tethered operation.

Once the ALTA X FRX Cable is plugged into the back of the Serial Port Patch Panel, SCREW and SECURE the EON800 Serial Port Patch Panel to the ALTA X.
The EON800 Air Power Unit (APU) has been designed to slot natively into the Alta X Battery Tray, specifically when the Battery Tray is previously set for Alta X 12S Flight Packs. Reset and lock the Alta X Battery Tray to its widest point. If you were last flying alternative batteries to the ALTA X 12S Flight Packs, re-adjust the battery tray by loosening and adjusting the (8x) M3x6 SHCS fasteners and securing the two movable tray components. Ensure the fasteners are tightened after the trays have been adjusted.

Expand and lock the Alta X Battery Tray to its widest point. This is the same width required to mount Alta X 12S Flight Packs.
EXPAND the Alta X Battery Tray (if required): LOOSEN the (8x) M3x6 SHCS fasteners on the Battery Tray with a 2.5mm Driver.
PUSH both sides of the Alta X Battery Tray's movable components out and into its widest position. TIGHTEN the (8x) M3x6 SHCS fasteners on the Battery Tray.
To prepare the ALTA X for the EON800 APU, REMOVE the ALTA X Silicone Retention Battery Straps from the ALTA X Battery Tray and unpack the EON800 APU from its case. Ensure Alta X EON800 APU Battery Output Leads are installed on the Alta X EON800 APU.
